As soon as I pick another clip to audition the whole chord sequence is lost. Presently the whole workflow is slowed down. And if midi was output I could even hear how it would sound with another instrument like an organ. I could then pick various clips from the browser and move them down in the song track to hear how they fit in the whole project.

If EZKeys worked as I believed it did when purchasing, I could just have the sequence of chords corresponding to the melody in the DAW inside EZKeys. I can’t keep copying and pasting to tracks in the DAW just to hear what it sounds like in context with a different instrument.

I know, but what I am talking about is auditioning from inside EZKeys while composing an instrument to go along with other tracks in the DAW. Users should have simple dial controls that control velocity, note emphasis, timing and the overall feel to the groove. This would really help wake us some of the sterile sounding midi, especially in the rock or jazz genre. I would also appreciate the addition of a humanize/swing option added to the performance whereas the user can adjust the playback performance of the ‘player’. It might make sense to move it to another tab- so we have an instrument (kit) tab, and then another tab for arrangement. I’d like to see the timeline have more focus, or be given the option to resize it. I have a giant image of the piano, which is nice – but static. For example, the timeline is such a small part of the screen, and a huge part of my work area in the application. I think it would be better if the scale of the items on screen was more proportiate to use. After playing around with it for a few hours last night, I found that I inadvertently stretched and zoomed the view by mis clicking. I would prefer some UI enhancements to aid in the zoom and scroll functionality within VST. Glad to hear chord inversion is on the short list!

RapidComposer is a multifunctional tool that allows professional users to quickly create or edit music, allowing beginners to learn and practice melody creation.I’m truly loving EZ Keys right now! Excellent program!!!!
#Blues scale rapidcomposer software
The software enables you to import and edit MIDI files like any other score created or opened with RapidComposer. The chord palette shows the notes you can add to the composition. You can choose between Minor, Major, Blues, Pentatonic, Chromatic, Blues and many other tones. For example, in the D# scale and melody minor, the first and second bars are dark blue, while the sixth and seventh bars are yellow. The chord palette is a comprehensive collection of chords, and each chord is assigned a different color according to the category it belongs to. The phrase editor allows you to modify the rhythm and add ascending or descending accents to the track. You can select one of the preset sequences and insert or overwrite the sequence of chords. Using the progression editor and built-in templates, you can more easily create chord progressions for the melody. The program can also provide you with different types of scales so that you can easily perform blues works, Persian harmonies or Lydian minors.

The quick access buttons above the editing area allow you to instantly raise or lower the pitch by one octave, or switch between the movie and the entire beat. You can easily copy entire phrases or joint notes, change chords or pitch, and modify the tempo of the tune. RapidComposer has sophisticated editing functions that allow you to modify any note, measure, chord or phrase manually or with the help of the Variation Menu. You can view phrases generated specifically for stringed instruments such as guitar, piano, clarinet, drums, or bass.
